Sterna shows her routes on 2014 at SITC

Sail with Sterna to the 80º North latitude
The International Tourism Show, also known as the SITC, it is an important event which shows the most wide offer in touristic destinations around the world. This year the comission in charge of its organization has choosen Sterna as one of the most innovative companys, inviting her to participate in the fair at the Innovation Zone.


It has been over a year since Sterna was born with the goal of offering oceanic passages and expeditions to the North and South Pole. She uses an amazing sailingyatch, unique in her kind. She is the result of Albert Bargués dream. He is known by its long and close relation with all the Oceans around the globe. Five months ago Sterna started her first adventure and she completed the 8000 miles easily navigated. Nowadays, she is getting ready for her next adventure on April 30: the North Pole.

On April 4th, 5th and 6th Albert Bargues and his team will be at the stand A185 pavilion 8. In order to present all the routes planned for 2014. Which involve Ocean Navigation, based on continued navigations for over a week. And North Pole expeditions, that consist in exploring and navigating the Arctic cercle. These North Pole expeditions are done with the aid of Tierras Polares, lead by the explorer Ramon Lerramendi.


Among all the events of the fair, Albert Bargue will give a speech on April 5th at 12:30 at the Principe space pavilion 8. He will share with us the details of his nautic experiences and Sterna’s Agenda.
